Most pilot watches such as those from the IWC Schaffhausen often has a bit of a rugged look to it, however, the Graham Chronofighter beg to differ. The pulsometer’s dial layout is absolutely elegant, the day-date indicator is set at the 9’clock position to counteract the small seconds on opposite polar.

Graham has a strong vocation to make the pulsometer as sleek as it gets, time indication was limited to the central second hand but it is more than enough considering the design of the watch is to take the middle ground between being bold and being elegant.

With a slight ‘steampunk aesthetic’, even though the watch is rocking an enormous 44mm, the well-polished steel with a sun-brushed finish wears unexpectedly well on wrists thanks to its decorous case and its slightly domed sapphire case back. The leather strap is as comparatively softer than most, with the intricate broguing on it, further imparted the elegancy of the watch
